Tearmann Care are leaders in residential care thanks to our high levels of staff training and our commitment to continuous improvement through education. We offer exceptional training opportunities and have in house training such as Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, Sensory Attachment Intervention, Introduction to Trauma and Attachment and practice teaching for social work students.
Tearmann Care is a training organisation, we believe that by investing in our team they shall invest in the young people, from induction to leadership awards we are committed to learning at every level of the organisation.

We specialise in-house with various training programmes. We collaborate with external organisations such as UUJ, QUB, Cornell University, NISCC to learn from their expertise and help us all provide up-to-date relevant training.
Tearmann Care values are founded on the principles of trauma informed practices, we are compliant with the Northern Ireland Framework for Therapeutic Integrated Care (NIFTIC) and we are committed to service wide specialist training in this area.
We have a number of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention leads and in-house training providers who will provide regular training updates and post-crisis response training to all staff.

Our senior management team recognise how they are both responsible for the wellbeing of the children and also the staff members. Tearmann Care shall nurture our staff through mentoring, coaching and reflection with the aim of enhancing their skills and knowledge. Our goal is to promote and enhance the capabilities of those who are enhancing the lives of the children in our care.
